The AICC has always sought to bring its members and the public relevant cutting-edge programming designed to promote cross-border business collaboration between the U.S. and Israel. Our Summer Innovation Spotlight continues this tradition.

While technology has always been a means to make our lives better, our businesses more efficient and profitable, many entrepreneurs are focusing on developing technologies for a “higher purpose” – to solve some of society’s biggest problems - in healthcare, hunger, environment and education.

Especially in today’s pandemic environment, the need for technology to address societal challenges is highly amplified, and years of advancement is transpiring in mere months. Investors, aware of new challenges facing society, are seeing new opportunities as well, as social impact investing gains momentum and provides the prospect of “doing well by doing good.”

Not surprisingly, Israeli companies are at the forefront of this trend. Our Summer Innovation Spotlight will focus on Israeli companies and technologies dedicated to making a positive social impact before, during and after the current pandemic.
